TEHRAN The latest animation method will be taught by the Swedish animation master John Ericson during the 2nd Tehran International Animation Festival.

Ericson, the renowned animation master, teaches animation at some 20 universities across the world.

According to the public relations office of the festival, Ericson will teach box method animation by using children's paintings to the instructors at the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.

Ericson has so far made some 200 animated films through box method animation. He has also won several international prizes for his works.

The 2nd Tehran International Animation Festival will open on February 19.
